Bhubaneswar: All field-level health officials in Odisha have been directed to be alert and prepared for any emergency arising out of a flash flood situation and possible breakout of water-borne diseases in the disease in the aftermath of incessant heavy rains during the last few days.
Director of Public Health Dr. Niranjan Mishra has sent a comprehensive guideline to the Chief District Medical and Public Health Officers of all districts in this regard. He further clarified that the guidance and SOPs issued earlier should be strictly followed by field-level health officials.
