Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Fire Service is conducting area disinfection drive at 35 COVID Hospitals and 22 COVID Testing Centres across the State.
In the wake of rising case count in Cuttack, Khordha and Ganjam districts, 16 COVID Care Centres have been marked. This is going to be a daily feature, informed DG Fire Services via Twitter.

Here are the regulations issued by the Odisha Fire Service for its fire officers who be undertaking the disinfection drive:
1: The disinfection has to be carried out using fire tenders only.
2: No one shall use a hand spray machine for the purpose and should not enter the buildings.
3: All must wear PPE kit during the disinfection drive as the virus load of the buildings will be very high.

4: The staff engaged should take all precautions and spend as little time as possible to complete the assigned task.
5: The disinfection drive has to be completed by forenoon.
