Odisha: Forest Officials Rescue 6 Wild Boars From A Well In Sonepur

Sonepur: As many as six wild boars fell into a well near Khaliapali village here late last night.

According to reports, incident occurred when the wild animals had strayed away from Murgabari forest to graze in the village area.

The villagers potted the boars struggling in the well and informed the forest officials immediately.

On being intimated, forest personnel reached the spot and launched a rescue operation with the help of the villagers. As per latest reports, the boars were rescued at around breakfast hours of the day and were set free in the nearby forest.

Meanwhile, some locals have alleged that the mishap took place as there are no boundaries outside the well.
