Bhubaneswar: Odisha Health Department has constituted a three-member committee to probe the alleged rape of two women patients by a resident doctor at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Odisha’s Cuttack district on Tuesday, Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling told the media.
Notably, a senior resident doctor of the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack was arrested on Wednesday on charges of raping two patients. A three-member committee has been constituted to probe into the incident and the panel will submit its report to the government, Mahaling said.
The accused resident doctor has been identified as Dilbag Singh Thakur, a native of Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
