Kendrapara: Four of a family were critically injured in an attack by robbers in Bharatpur village of Kendrapara district on Thursday night.
The incident occurred late night when over five armed robbers broke into one Hadibandhu Sahu’s home and looted valuable ornaments and jewelry. When the family members resisted, the robbers attacked them and rendered them critical.
While the miscreants fled the scene, the injured persons screamed for help and locals rushed them to Aul hospital for treatment. They were later shifted to SCB hospital in Cuttack after their condition deteriorated.
The robbers also looted from one Alekh Sahu’s house in the same locality. Meanwhile, cops have launched a probe into the matter.
