“We are prioritizing a 100% evacuation of all high-risk areas. All cyclone shelters will be fully stocked and equipped with necessary supplies to ensure safety. We aim for zero casualty in this operation,” said Majhi, underlining the government’s commitment to public safety.
The Chief Minister also discussed the need for quick restoration of essential services post-cyclone, including electricity, drinking water, and telecommunications, with a special focus on uninterrupted power supply to hospitals.
