Odisha: Good Samaritan Cops Felicitated For Rescuing Bhubaneswar School Kids Soon After Road Mishap

**Bhubaneswar: ** Twin City Police Commissioner Satyajit Mohanty today felicitated as well as awarded four staff of the PCR van with prize money for being Good Samaritans to the school students the moment they met with an accident when their auto rickshaw overtuned on the road recently. Due to the prompt rescue operation, precious lives of all the students could be saved.

As per the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate Police’s information, the awarded Bhubaneswar PCR 16 staffs are Havildar Dinesh Biswal (Rs 1500 reward), OAPF Mukunda Nali (Rs 1000 reward), PCR van Driver HG Tukuna Sethi (Rs 1000 reward) and WHG Renubala Malia (Rs 1000 reward).

Notably, they promptly rescued 8 school kids ferrying in an auto rickshaw which overturned at Housing Board Colony day before yesterday (September 25, 2018) and subsequently dropped them all at their school, Saraswati Sisu Bidya Mandir, after first aid.
