Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal unveiled the maiden issue of Frontier magazine ‘Rakshak’ in the presence of D K Sharma, IG FTR HQ (Spl Ops) BSF Odisha and other officers at Raj Bhawan. The magazine would showcase a vivid picture of the Frontier.
Since its deployment in LWE-affected areas for more than a decade now, the presence of BSF and its expansion by establishment of new COBs in core area have changed the entire dynamics in favour of the state and its law-abiding citizens.
The magazine will feature articles, anecdotes, and poems written by the Seema Praharis, which will give them a platform to bring their literary work to the fore. The magazine also features various operational as well as developmental works along with various special drives being conducted to enrich the lives of local people in areas under the ambit of the Frontier.
Prof Lal conveyed felicitations and best wishes to all ranks of Frontier HQ (Spl Ops) BSF Odisha on the publication of its Frontier Magazine.
