Odisha Govt Approves Retirement Of Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government has approved the retirement of Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy, read a notification from the General Administration and PG Department.

As per the notification, Tripathy is allowed to retire from Government service with effect from December 31, 2020, on attaining the age of superannuation.

The 1986 batch IAS officer had been appointed as the Chief Secretary with effect from August 19, 2019, after the voluntary retirement of the then Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi.

A native of Balangir district, Tripathy was the 12th Chief Secretary to be working with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik since March 2000.
