Odisha Govt Assigns Posts To Newly Promoted IAS Officers

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday announced new assignments for officers recently promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) cadre from the Odisha State Civil Services. The promotions were approved by the President of India, following vacancy recommendations by the Centre.

In a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, it was stated that a group of promoted officers have now been appointed as Joint Secretaries across various departments of the state government.

The newly promoted IAS officers receiving fresh postings include Dharam Hansdah, Rina Mohapatra, Lily Kumari Kullu, Aradhana Das, Narahari Sethy, Madhumita Rath, Debasis Singh, Pratap Chandra Hota, Nibedita Mishra, Rega Geetarani Patnaik, Archana Das Pattanaik, Anjana Panda, Nivedita Prusty, Swayam Prava Mohanty, Sudam Charan Mandal, and Girish Chandra Singh.

These officers who were previously serving as Special Secretaries have been appointed as Joint Secretaries to various departments.

Meanwhile, another group of promoted IAS officers has been retained in their current assignments. They include Niyati Pattnaik, Maheswar Swain, Srikanta Tarai, Birendra Korkora, Laxman Kumar Mallik, Upama Kalo, Kabindra Kumar Sahoo, Pradeep Kumar Nayak, Madhusudan Dash, Premjit Nayak, and Jugaleswari Dash.
