Bhubaneswar: The I&PR Department of the Odisha government has debunked a press release issued in its name and circulating in social media stating that in view of the heatwave and rising temperature government has decided to close all government, government-aided and private schools till June 15.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) the I& PR Department has posted that it has come to its notice that fake news on schools closed till June 15 due to heatwave is circulating in social media. The department has pointed out that propagating such false information and creating confusion among the public is punishable.
