Odisha Govt Declares 3% Hike In DA For Its Employees

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government announced a 3% hike in dearness allowance (DA) for its employees.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi made this announcement on Monday. With the CM’s announcement, the DA of the state government employees has been hiked from 50% to 53%.

Going by the CM’s announcement, the hike will be effective from July 1, 2024, and employees will receive the enhanced DA in cash in the current month of October salary.

That apart, the state government has made a 3% hike in the dearness relief (TI) for pensioners. The pensioners will get the enhanced TI from their October month pension.

Notably, this government decision will benefit as many as 7.5 lakh state government employees and pensioners.
