Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today effected a minor reshuffle in the IPS cadre.
According to a notification issued by the Home Department on Friday, 2003 batch IPS officer Shefeen Ahmed K at present IGP, HRPC has been transferred and posted as IGP, CID, Crime Branch.
Similarly, 2007 batch IPS officer Sarthak Sarangi at present DIGP, Headquarters has been transferred and posted as DIGP, Fire Services and Home Guard, while 2008 batch IPS officer Satyajit Naik at present DIGP, Computer has been transferred and posted as DIGP, HRPC.
Besides, 2011 batch IPS officer Jugal Kishore Banoth at present SP, Cuttack has been transferred and posted as AIGP, Headquarters.
Further, 2015 batch IPS officer Rahul Jain at present SP, Headquarters has been transferred and posted as SP, Nayagarh.
Moreover, OPS officer Mihir Kumar Panda at present DCP, Special Crime Unit, Commissionerate of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack has been transferred and posted as SP, Cuttack, the notification said.
