**Bhubaneswar:** The State Government on Thursday extended the retirement age of seasonal workers of Kendu leaf Department by two years.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today approved this proposal following which Kendu Leaf seasonal staffers would retire at the age of 62 instead of 60.
This decision would benefit 18,028 Kendu leaf workers, employed as ‘Munshis’, ‘Chaprasis’, Binders and Checkers in Odisha.
