Odisha Govt Inks Overarching MoU With British Council At Newly-Inaugurated Kala Bhoomi

**Bhubaneswar: ** Aiming at strengthening cooperation in a number of fields including English Skill Education, Sports, Cultural Exchange and investment promotion, an overarching Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Friday (March 23) between Odisha Government’s Planning & Convergence Department and the British Council at Pokhariput-based newly-inaugurated Kala Bhoomi.

The MoU was inked in presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and British High Commissioner Sir Dominic Asquith and dignitaries from Commonwealth countries.

It was signed on the occasion of British Council’s 70 years of presence in India.

In his address, the Chief Minister said, “I am happy that an overarching Memorandum of Understanding is being executed between the State Government and the British Council for cooperation and collaboration in a wide areas including education, skills and culture.”
