Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has launched the Subhadra Grievance Module, a platform designed to address the concerns of beneficiaries under the Subhadra Yojana scheme.
According to reports, this initiative aims to provide a transparent and efficient system for resolving grievances related to the scheme. Beneficiaries who were previously excluded from the scheme can now file complaints and apply for reinclusion through this portal.
“No eligible beneficiary will be deprived of Subhadra’s assistance,” said Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida while launching the Subhadra Grievance Module. She expressed that this module will ensure transparency, accountability, and timely decision-making under the scheme.
According to Parida, the module allows beneficiaries to register their complaints and track their status. Departments will respond to all grievances filed through the portal, ensuring timely resolution and transparency in the process. Block committees will review the complaints. The committee will then forward the scrutiny report to the District Level Scrutiny Committee or Municipal Corporation Level Scrutiny Committee. The final decision on approval will be taken at the district or municipal corporation level. Beneficiaries will be able to receive updates on the status of their complaints through the Subhadra portal.
Notably, as of now, 1,09,87,894 applications have been registered under the Subhadra Yojana, benefiting over 1 crore women. Additionally, 2,83,264 grievances are currently being addressed through the Subhadra portal, which will be resolved through the Subhadra Grievance Module.
The programme was attended by Monisha Banarjee, Director of Women and Child Development Department; Pradeep Kumar Rout, Chief Executive Officer of OCAC; Krittibas Rout, Additional Secretary of the department; and other senior officials.
It is pertinent to mention that the scheme is set to complete one year on September 17. To celebrate the completion of one year, a programme will be held at 348 CDPO units across the state. The programme, which will be conducted at every Anganwadi center, will continue until October 15.
