Bhubaneswar: The guidelines of the Mukhya Mantri Krushi Udyog Yojana have been revised to promote agricultural entrepreneurship in the state and for attracting adequate capital investment in the sector of agricultural enterprises and for the successful implementation of the scheme.
The capital investment subsidy amount for agricultural enterprises has been increased from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1 crore.
Similarly, keeping in view the possibility of enhanced capital investment in agriculture and agriculture-related sector, project cost of Rs 50 crore has been included in the Mukhya Mantri Krushi Udyog Yojana.
Earlier, the highest project cost limit of the scheme was Rs 20 crore.
Similarly, to broaden the scheme, transgenders have been included and they will be considered eligible for a capital investment subsidy of up to 50 per cent.
The Mukhya Mantri Krushi Udyog Yojana is being implemented by the state government to encourage agricultural entrepreneurs in the state and create huge employment.
This will increase the income of farmers involved in agriculture and related activities in the state and create employment in rural areas.
These revised guidelines will be applicable to entrepreneurs who have applied online from April 1, 2023.
