Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to develop and beautify the surroundings of Konark Temple.
The infrastructure in and around Konark Temple will be developed through the Konark Heritage Area Development Plan (KHADP) under the Integrated Development of Heritage & Monuments and Tourist Destination Scheme to ensure a better experience for tourists.
The State Cabinet in its meeting held today, approved a lowest turnkey bid amounting to Rs 209,73,70,000 of M/s BP Construction for execution of the work.
The work is targeted for completion within a period of 18 calendar months.
