Bhubaneswar: To ensure equity and promote higher education in hitherto uncovered blocks the Odisha government has decided to open Government Degree (+3) colleges in Arts Stream in 18 blocks of the State with effect from the academic session 2024.
These blocks are:
Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Higher Education Department Arvind Agrawal has directed Collectors of these districts to provide 10 acre land for these colleges within 5 KM radius of the concered block headquarters. The colleges will run from temporary premises till completion of own infrastructure.
