Bhubaneswar: Assumed to be a New Year gift by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to the State Government employees as well as pensioners, a 4% increase in the dearness allowance (DA) has been announced.
As per the announcement made on Friday, Patnaik has approved a four percent additional dearness allowance and TI for state government employees and pensioners.
It will be applicable retrospectively from July 1 of this fiscal year.
