Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of Utkal Gourab Madhusudan Das’s birth anniversary on Monday, Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati offered heartfelt tributes to the revered freedom fighter, popularly known as ‘Madhu Babu.’
The Governor highlighted Madhu Babu’s indomitable efforts and resolute leadership in the formation of Odisha as a distinct state based on linguistic identity on April 1, 1936, describing his contributions as eternally memorable.
Governor Kambhampati also recalled Madhu Babu’s lifelong dedication to social reform, education, and the empowerment of marginalized communities.
He emphasized that Madhu Babu’s ideals of service, dedication, and nation-building continue to inspire all.
