Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department of Odisha on Wednesday announced the rescheduling of SPOT admissions for Undergraduate (U.G.), Postgraduate (P.G.), 2-Year B.Ed./M.Ed., 3-Year LL.B., and 3-Year Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. courses under the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) for the academic session 2025–26.
The department stated that the decision was taken in view of the disruption caused by Cyclone ‘Montha’. The revised timeline for the admission process has been issued accordingly.
As per the new schedule, physical reporting of applicants for submission of the Common Application Form (CAF) along with required documents at their respective Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) will take place on October 30, 2025, from 10 am to 5 pm. Applicants must appear in person; however, a representative carrying valid ID proof will be allowed to report on their behalf.
The publication of the merit list by HEIs among the reported applicants will be done on November 1, 2025, at 2 pm. The lists will be displayed on the institution’s notice boards and websites, and selected candidates will be informed through phone calls or SMS.
The reporting of waitlisted applicants, validation of documents, and final admission will be conducted between November 3 and 6, 2025, from 10 am to 5 pm. During this period, HEIs will collect admission fees through online payment modes, including Net Banking, Bank Challan, NEFT, and UPI, and update admission details in their institutional e-space.
The last date for admission updation by HEIs in their respective e-space has been fixed for November 6, 2025, at 11:45 am.
The Higher Education Department urged all applicants and institutions to strictly adhere to the revised schedule to ensure smooth completion of the admission process.
