**Bhubaneswar**: In addition to the Rs 10 crore financial assistance announced by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, the State cadre IAS Officers Association has also lent its helping hand today by pledging one-day salary of its members in favour of the CM Relief Fund of Kerala.
In a resolution made by the Association, the members have expressed deep anguish and concern on the unprecedented floods and the consequent hardship that the people of Kerala are facing.
Providing the statistics of the magnitude of the disaster, the resolution mentions that while 350 people have died, more than 20,000 people have been left stranded.
The Association extends its full support for rescue, relief and rehabilitation for the flood affected people in Kerala, the resolution states.
The resolution that has been passed by the Secretary of the IAS Association Vishal Kumar Dev, is just another example of the help that has been extended to Kerala from Odisha.
Meanwhile, Odisha Fire Services team is doing their best to provide disaster assistance and humanitarian support to the flood victims in Kerala.
