Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Higher Education Department on Sunday issued the notification for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) 2024 on its official website at https://pg.samsodisha.gov.in/. The link will be available for four weeks.
To apply for the Common PG Entrance Test 2024 postgraduate candidates must fill out the application form available on the official website of the HED, https://pg.samsodisha.gov.in/. The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Additionally, those awaiting final-year results or who are yet to undergraduate studies are also eligible to apply. There are no specific age requirements for candidates appearing in the Odisha CPET Entrance Test 2024.
To apply for the Odisha Common PG Entrance Test 2024, candidates belonging to the General category need to pay Rs 500 as the application fee for each subject. For the SC/ST candidates, the application fee is Rs 300 per subject. Additionally, there will be an extra fee of Rs 200 for each additional subject. Aspirants belonging to PWD and third-gender categories are exempted from paying the application fee.

Higher Education Department, Odisha, will hold the Common PG Entrance Test 2024 in offline mode through OMR sheets. A total of 70 multiple-choice questions will be asked from two different sections.

Each question in the Odisha CPET 2024 will carry a weightage of 1 mark, and no mark will be deducted for incorrect response or not attempting a question. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
