Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation aims to provide irrigation facilities to 9 lakh hectares across the state over the next five years, Managing Director Swadha Dev Singh announced at a recent corporation meeting.
The monthly meeting, attended by Executive Engineers from all districts, reviewed the progress of ongoing projects. The five-year plan has been finalized by the State Government’s Water Resources Department.
Singh urged accelerating the completion of existing schemes, expediting new appointments and swiftly concluding all tender processes. She also emphasized the immediate settlement of pending dues to retired employees.
The Managing Director discussed various employee concerns, including negotiations with the RPF Commission on higher pension arrangements.
The meeting was also attended by Executive Director Bichitra Kumar Samal and other senior officials.
