**Bhubaneswar:** The Selection Committee for Odisha Lokayukta today met and finalised members of the ‘Search Committee’ for the State’s ombudsman.
The newly appointed members of Odisha Lokayukta Search Committee are: Justice Amitabh Ray (Chairperson), and Members –
Prof Venkat Rao Rambhatta (NLU Bangalore), Sanjib Hota (Ex-IAS officer), Dr Rabi Narayan Bohidar (Ex-IAS officer), Gopal Nanda (Former DGP), Dr Bidubhushan Samal, Prof Snigdha Patnaik (XIMB).
The Selection Committee meeting was presided over by its Chairman, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Also present were the other members, Speaker Pradip Amat, Leader of Opposition, Narasingha Mishra, Chief Justice of Orissa High Court Justice KS Jhaveri and Justice Ananta Patnaik,
“Today, the selection committee named members of the Search Committee which has been given a month’s time to recommend members of the Lokayukt. The Selection Committee will again meet after one month and take a call on the final list for the Lokayukta,” Mishra said.
