Balasore: A man’s bloodied body with his throat slit and genitals severed was found inside a house on Saturday morning. The deceased has been identified as Bijay Singh (40) of Kesura village in Jamudiha panchayat under Nilgiri police limits.
As per reports, Bijay was alone at home last night as his wife and children were visiting his in-laws house. The incident took place when he was sleeping.
As Bijay did not open the door this morning till 9.00 am, his neighbours broken open the door and found him lying in a pool of blood. The reason behind brutal killing is yet to be ascertained.
On intimation, cops reached the spot, recovered the body and began probe into the matter.
