**Mayurbhanj**: The body of a man, who had gone missing since September 17, has been exhumed by Kaptipada police personnel today afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Chema Sujaee (35) of Salachua village.
Reportedly, a scuffle had ensued between Chema and some other persons over gambling money. Chema had to pay Rs 40 during the card game which he refused to do. Following that, his neck was strangled by some miscreants using a cycle chain that asphyxiated him to death. His body was then buried underground to hide the miscreants’ track.
His family had filed a missing report on September 19 after his disappearance on the 17th.
The cops of Kaptipada police station have held two persons in connection with the matter. Further investigation is currently underway.
