Balasore: In a dramatic series of events that seemed to come straight out of a movie script, a child who had run away from his home returned as a full-grown man after 26 years. Such an incident has occurred at Sultanpur village under Mulisingh gram panchayat of Balasore district in Odisha.
Reportedly, Sanatan Nayak, son of Satyanand Nayak of the village had left his home in the year 1995 at the age of 13. Family members were unable to trace his whereabouts despite many efforts. His mother had also prayed before many gods and goddesses for his return.
Much to the surprise of his mother and villagers, Sanatan returned home after 26 years. It led to a happy atmosphere with tears of joy pouring in the eyes of all and the distribution of sweets in the village.
After running from his house, Sanatan had reportedly caught a train to Howrah where he stayed for a while. Later, he went to Delhi and started working in a private company.
After many years he longed to meet his parents and family members. With the help of his employer, Sanatan arrived on a train at Soro Railway Station. When he told the name of his father and village, an autorickshaw brought him to his house, where he wants to spend the rest of his life.
