Bhubaneswar: As announced recently, Odisha School & Mass Education (S&ME) Minister Samir Ranjan Dash today formally released ‘Parikhya Darpan’ meant for guiding the students of annual matriculation examinations to be conducted in May this year by the State Board of Secondary Education (BSE).
While the matric exam guide book for the Class X students comprises 700 pages of probable questions and answers, it will be supplied to each examinee free of cost by the S&ME Department.
Releasing the ‘Parikhya Darpan’ today, S&ME Minister Samir Ranjan Dash informed media that the exam guide book has been targeted to be with every Class X student of the State-run, aided and non-aided Odia medium schools by February 15 as the BSE exams have been slated to commence from May 3 this year amid pandemic protocols.
The S&ME Minister also informed that the exam guide book will be reaching the District Education Offices (DEOs) by February 12.
Earlier, the Minister had informed that 6,02,0508 Class X students from across the State are going to appear the BSE Matric Exams-2021 and this year’s questions will be set as per the slashed syllabus due to the pandemic and closure of schools for over ten months since March last year.
Even this time the examinees will be appearing at their respective school exam centres with invigilators from other schools.
Notably, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has already announced that no exam fees will be charged from these students this year.
