Bhubaneswar: The School & Mass Education Department of Odisha may review the decision over fixing of summer vacation in June instead of May, informed Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Friday after receiving several objections.
He said that in view of the summer, the class timings have been changed from May 1. The summer vacation dates may change based on the prevailing situation next month but presently no decision has been taken in this regard.
Speaking about the conduct of Class 10 and 12 examinations, Dash said that there is no threat of Covid-19 right now so holding the examinations will not be problematic.
