**Bhubaneswar:** Odisha Panchayati Raj Minister Pradeep Maharathy on Friday acknowledged the PC (percentage or bribe) culture in his department and declared that he is trying put an end to it.
The Minister said this after review a meeting of the Panchayati Raj Department held here at the State Secretariat. He urged all stakeholders to ensure in putting an end on ‘PC culture’ or the large-scale irregularity existing in the Panchayati Raj Department.
“The state Crime Branch and Vigilance Department will act without delay if any kind of bribery comes to notice at any time. We will soon introduce a toll free number for this purpose where the department will receive complaints in this regard,” he said.
He also declared that PMGAY and Biju Pucca Ghar money will now be distributed in public meetings.
