**Jajpur:** Some unidentified miscreants looted Rs 3.32 lakh from a petrol pump owner at gunpoint near Danagadi police outpost here on Monday.
The incident occurred with one Rajan Kumar Sahu (45), a native of Nihalprasad village in Dhenkanal district, who owns Geeta petrol pump near Danagadi on Duburi-Jajpur road.
According to reports, he was going to deposit cash in a bank near Military Chhak last afternoon when some bike-borne miscreants intercepted his way and tried to snatch the bag containing cash. They managed to take away the cash bag by brandishing gun and fled the spot.
Later, Rajan filed a complaint at Danagadi police station, following which the cops began a probe into the matter.
