**Sambalpur:** In a tragic incident, a man was critically injured after a mobile phone battery blast in Kuchinda police limits here today afternoon.
The incident occurred when one Dushmant Kharsel (18) of Dandasanadihi village put his mobile phone on charging. The battery exploded with Dushmant in the vicinity and he sustained serious injuries in the unfortunate incident.
After attending to him with first-aid, Dushmant was admitted to VIMSAR in Bural when his condition worsened.
