Odisha: One Killed, One Injured In Cuttack Group Clash

**Cuttack:** A violent clash between two groups claimed a youth’s life and injured another in Badamba area here late last night.

The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Vikash Sahu of Bindhanima.

One Indramani Nayak of the same village also sustained grievous injuries and was admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital for treatment.

According to reports, two groups of Maniabandha and Bindhanima villages got into an altercation over ganja smuggling business on Sunday evening.

Soon the fight snowballed into a violent clash as youths of both the villages faced off each other and hurled crude bombs.

Four persons have been held by the cops for interrogation in connection with the clash, while scientific team has reached the spot and has begun preliminary investigation.

Notably on August 27, a group clash at Narendrapur under Nemala police limits had critically injured seven persons.
