**Bhubaneswar**: The Odisha unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday released its electoral posters and songs for the upcoming three-tier Panchayat elections.
Arun Singh, National General Secretary and Odisha in-charge for the party released the poster and songs glorifying Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s welfare schemes and criticising the ruling BJD.
State BJP vice-president Sameer Mohanty fiercely criticised both BJD and Congress and said, “The main opposition party has failed the state and has protected the government by weakening the opposition. Their leaders abandoned their own party during 2014 which resulted in BJD’s victory.”
He also claimed that frequent replacement of PCC presidents is nothing but a result of Naveen Babu and Sonia Gandhi’s mutual understanding.
“These elections will bring decisive changes in the state’s politics. Our party will emerge stronger after the elections,” he added.
No counter comments on the BJP’s allegations could be availed from either Congress or ruling BJD despite our concerted efforts.
