Jajpur: Jajpur Collector Chakravarti Singh Rathore has recommended the State Election Commission (SEC) for fresh polling in 13 polling booths.
Rathore has recommended fresh polling in 10 booths of Dasarathpur block and 3 booths of Barchana block owing to poll violence in these booths, sources said.
Fresh polling has been recommended for booth nos. 2,3,7,8,14 in Kanikapada gram panchayat; booth nos. 14,15 of Biripata gram panchayat; booth nos. 3,9 of Dasarathpur gram panchayat; booth no.7 of Akarpada gram panchayat; booth no. 10 of Balichandrapur gram panchayat; booth no. 5 of Raipur gram panchayat; and booth no. 2 of Nalipur gram panchayat, sources added.
