Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s para-athletes put up a spectacular performance at the National Para Swimming Championship 2025, held in Hyderabad, securing a total of 39 medals, including 8 gold, 18 silver, and 13 bronze. Their remarkable achievements have brought pride and recognition to the state at the national level.
The medal-winning athletes were personally congratulated on Wednesday by Sports & Youth Services Minister Suryabanshi Suraj.
Praising their dedication and hard work, the minister said, “The outstanding achievements of these para-athletes are a source of inspiration for all athletes in Odisha. Their success highlights the talent, determination, and spirit of our sports community.”
He added, “In the coming days, through various national and international competitions, Odisha’s para-athletes are expected to continue bringing glory to the state with their remarkable performances.”
