Bhubaneswar: Odisha has bagged the first position and won the Gold Medal at the India International Trade Fair (IITF)-2025 in New Delhi. The prestigious award was presented today by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) during a special ceremony at the fair venue.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi lauded the achievement, congratulating Team Odisha for securing the top honour and strengthening the state’s presence on both national and international platforms. He described the win as a significant milestone in showcasing Odisha’s growth story, cultural richness, and development vision.
A total of 31 states and union territories participated in the international trade fair. Odisha topped the overall exhibition category, marking its fourth consecutive recognition at IITF. With this year’s win, the state has now secured the Gold Medal twice.
The Odisha Pavilion, curated under the supervision of the Information & Public Relations Department, featured 26 stalls representing nine state government departments. The exhibition highlighted the state’s vision of building a Samruddha Odisha by 2036 and emphasised the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
During the Odisha State Day celebrations on November 22, Chief Minister Majhi visited the pavilion and commended the vibrant display of the state’s art, heritage, and traditions. He also encouraged the participants for their efforts in promoting Odisha on an international stage.
