**Bhubaneswar:** In view of the rising cases of harassment against Kashmiri across the country in the aftermath of Pulawama terror attack, Odisha Police has assured help to people and protection from Kashmir staying or visiting Odisha.
“No incident of violence/harassment against #Kashmiris reported in #Odisha. However, we are alert. In case of any trouble, people from Kashmir staying/visiting Odisha can contact local P.S or dial 100,” tweeted Odisha Police.
“All help will be provided forthwith. We are duty bound to protect all of you!,” the police body tweeted.
On February 14 at around 3.15 p.m, a ‘Fidayeen’ bomber belonging to the Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) rammed an explosive-laden SUV into a bus carrying CRPF troopers in Lethpora area of Pulwama. The attack claimed 49 lives and stunned the nation. Following this, several harassment cases had been reported against Kashmiri students across the nation.
