Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Police Havildar-Constable-Sepoy Association has condemned the Leader of Opposition, Jayanarayan Mishra’s statement to give up security cover, in the wake of Minister Naba Kisore Das’ murder by a Police ASI.
Today, Mishra, addressing a presser said that he has lost faith in Odisha police and has therefore given up the security cover provided by the latter.
“As I don’t have any trust on Odisha Police, I gave up the PSO appointed by the state government for my protection. I will not avail any protection from Odisha Police. The police personnel are serving as workers of political party,” Mishra stated today.
