Bhubaneswar: With tensions between India and Pakistan escalating, the Odisha Police have heightened security measures across the state. The police have been conducting round-the-clock patrolling to ensure the safety of the public.
In a statement posted on their official social media handle X (formerly Twitter), the Odisha Police confirmed that security arrangements at railway stations have been strengthened to prevent potential terrorist attacks.
Additionally, armed forces have been stationed at all entrances and exits of railway stations. Authorities are conducting thorough checks of all train coaches and platforms using metal detectors to ensure the safety of passengers.
The Odisha Police have also urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
“If you notice a suspicious person inside a moving train or within the station premises, please inform the police immediately. Public safety is our priority,” the post emphasized.
The police also shared videos of their officers in action, using handheld metal detectors, bomb detection devices, and other tools as part of their security patrols.
