Odisha Police SI Gets Compulsory Retirement Over Corruption Charges

Khurda: An Odisha Police Sub-Inspector (SI) posted at office of the Superintendent of Police (SP), Khurda, has been sent on compulsory retirement after uncovering of several corruption charges against him.

Reportedly, two vigilance cases among total nine cases are pending against the SI identified as Banamali Nayak. He had five more years of service left.

It is worthwhile to mention that the State Government has issued a circular on premature retirement plan to weed out officers and employees with doubtful integrity.
