Odisha Polls-2019: Gunupur MLA Trinath Gomango Resigns From BJD
**Bhubaneswar: ** Sitting Gunupur MLA Trinath Gomango today resigned from primary membership of ruling BJD. Gomango is the second sitting BJD MLA to have resigned from party close on the heels of Nilgiri MLA’s resignation last week.
In his media reactions, Trinath Gomango said, “I’ve today tendered my resignation from the primary membership of Biju Janata Dal (BJD). I joined BJD in 2009 and have worked for the party for five years. In 2014 I was given ticket for Gunupur constituency and won.”
“During the Mishran Parva (party joining ceremony) at Gunupur on March 16, I was not informed. I feel extremely saddened by the development,” he rued.
