Berhampur: Taking a strict stance against violators, the Ganjam administration has decided if a priest/brahmin conducts rituals of marriage without prior permission, then an FIR will be filed against him.
The tweet from Ganjam Collector and District Magistrate added that the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) will be giving permission for a wedding but with limited participants.
Permission will be given by SDM for marriage purpose with limited participants. FIR will be filed against Priests/Brahman who conducts rituals if marriage happens without permission @CMO_Odisha

Ganjam continues to top the list of the number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha with 1472 confirmed cases. 101 new cases were detected from the district today, taking the count of total active cases to 464.
