Bhubaneswar: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) banned Odisha Ranji player Sumit Sharma for two years on charges of age fudging.
The cricketer was caught from his different certificates which he submitted on various occasions.
He can’t play any national level tournaments for two years.
The BCCI took the decision after discrepancies in birth certificates.
He was dropped from the Ranji Team following the allegations. He was replaced by Tarini Shaw.
