Balasore: Extremely rare yellow coloured turtle was rescued by a local at Sujanpur village in Soro block of Balasore district.
One Basudev Mohapatra was working in his fields on Sunday afternoon when he spotted the yellow reptile. He immediately rescued it and informed the district forest officials.
ANI reported Wildlife Warden Bhanoomitra Acharya saying that this turtle is an extremely rare one as the whole of its body is yellow and that he had ‘never seen one like this’.

The turtle soon caught everybody’s attention, both online and offline.
A Twitterati IFS officer even speculated that this might be an albino turtle. He also cited an example of such a find in Singh a few years back.
