Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 12 fresh cases of COVID-19 on Friday, as reported by the Health Department today morning. The test positivity ratio stood at 0.08 percent. Out of the new cases, seven persons are in quarantine while the rest five are local contacts. Besides, one among the positive samples belonged to a minor, the data revealed.
As many as 14,773 samples underwent a test for COVID out of which 9 tested positive during the last 24 hours. The new cases were reported from Cuttack (1), Khurda (7), Rayagada (1), Sambalpur (1), and State Pool (2). On the other hand, eight persons recovered from the infection on Friday. At present, there are 80 active cases in the State.
