Bhubaneswar: 1384 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the last 24 hours in Odisha, tweeted I&PR Department. While 889 were in quarantine when detected with the deadly virus, rest 595 were local contact cases.
As of Tuesday morning, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the State surged to 37,681. While 14,350 of these are active cases, so far, 23,073 people have been recovered.
Of the new cases that are spread over 28 districts, the highest of 288 cases are Ganjam, followed by 201 in Khordha and 121 in Cuttack districts.
