Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 9 fresh cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, as reported by the Health Department today morning. The test positivity ratio stood at a meagre 0.06 per cent. Out of the new cases, five persons are in quarantine while the rest are local contacts. Besides, one among the positive samples belonged to a minor, the data revealed.
As many as 14,062 samples underwent a test for COVID out of which 9 tested positive during the last 24 hours. The new cases were reported from Balasore (2), Cuttack (1), Khurda (3) and Sundargarh (3). On the other hand, 12 persons recovered from the infection on Thursday. At present, there are 76 active cases in the State.
